iglidur® J | The versatile endurance runner

iglidur® J is characterised above all by the lowest coefficients of friction in dry operation and its very low stick-slip tendency. With a maximum recommended surface pressure of 35MPa, iglidur® J is not suitable for extreme loads.

Typical application areas

  • Vending machinery
  • Printing industry
  • Beverage industry
  • Aviation
  • Cleanroom

When to use it?

  • At high speeds
  • When highest wear resistance is required at low to medium pressure loads
  • When lowest wear is required with a variety of different shafts
  • When low coefficients of friction in dry operation is required
  • When the material should be vibration-dampening
  • When good chemical resistance is required
  • Best behaviour with soft shafts
  • Low moisture absorption

When not to use it?

  • If high pressure loads occur
  • If short-term temperatures greater than +120°C occur
  • If a cost-effective material is required for occasional movements
