Our energy chains made of high-performance plastic ensure the safe and dynamic guidance of on-board networks. They are robust, light, quiet and designed to be easily openable for assembly or disassembly. We offer a wide variety of versions tailored to the respective application parameters, especially small compact series that are impressive wherever installation space is at a premium, such as in electric sliding doors, window lifts, or headrests. We provide a 4-year guarantee on all products with an igus service life prediction.
The sample box contains three small e-chains of the easy chain and E2.1 micro series:

iglidur plain bearings made from tribologically optimised high-performance plastics offer many advantages over metal bearings: they are 80% lighter, up to 40% more cost-effective, quiet and self-calibrating when exposed to heat during the e-coating process, and are 100% maintenance-free because the plastic material contains embedded solid lubricants.
Given the planned EU restrictions on PFAS chemicals, including PTFE, you can also ensure planning security with iglidur plain bearings. For many applications, we already have plain bearing materials in our product range that have been tested for harmful PFAS and are PTFE-free.
The sample box contains flange bearings made of iglidur GPF, JPF, HPF, XPF and W300PF:
Whether prototype construction and small batches in 3D printing, machined or milled from bar stock or high-volume production from the injection mould: We manufacture customised special parts in the desired form and material. We will be happy to advise you on which process is best for your case, both technically and economically.
With the FastLine service you have the option to receive injection moulded plain bearings and thrust washers in special dimensions within a maximum of seven days.

In multi-joint hinges in convertible roof systems and seat adjustments, cost-effective stamped housings and simple cold extruded parts with coarse tolerances are frequently used as clevis pins. A bearing should have as little clearance as possible in order to reliably avoid noise.
iglidur plastic bearings have the advantage of self-calibrating due to the heat generated during the e-coating process. With our special designs for use in sheet metal, you can also save a lot of time during assembly.
The box contains a clip bearing, a double flange bearing, a flange bearing and a clip-on double flange bearing.

Plastic bearings have many advantages: they are lightweight, corrosion-free, inexpensive and maintenance-free. No external lubrication, no adhering dirt, long service life.
But what if heavy loads are involved - e.g. on the tail lift or leaf suspension? Aren't metal bearings the only option then? We have solutions ready for you: our fibre composite and multi-component bearings are specially designed to withstand high static loads, edge loads and pulsating loads. This makes them suitable, for example, for use in tail lifts and swing axes of commercial vehicles.

Low-maintenance systems without rolling elements that are a quiet sliding alternative to recirculating ball guides: drylin linear guides. The bearing elements are not separated from one another by rolling steel balls, but by liners made of our tribologically optimised plastics that do not require any external lubrication and are therefore maintenance-free and insensitive to dirt. They are used, for example, in sunroofs, movable centre consoles or displays.
The box contains two carriages and rails in different profiles:

dryspin lead screw technology with lead screw nuts made of self-lubricating high-performance polymers makes additional lubrication unnecessary and thus reduces maintenance and cleaning costs. Together with the matching lead screws, they score points with quiet, low-vibration operation, higher efficiency and up to 25% less wear compared to conventional lead screw drives.
The sample box contains a high helix lead screw with a flange lead screw nut made of iglidur J material:

iglidur bar stock plates, liners and coating powder offer a wide range of options for designing friction-optimised surfaces. Our customers use them, for example, to line extensions in utility vehicles. As with all iglidur materials, embedded solid lubricants ensure that the products have very low friction while being highly wear-resistant and easy to clean. In this way, you not only make surfaces smooth, but also reliably protect them against wear.
The sample box contains a piece of bar stock, liners and a piece of powder-coated plate:

Unlike metallic ball bearings, xiros plastic ball bearings do not require external lubrication. They are quiet, cost-effective and corrosion-free. We offer various materials to cover a wide range of applications, including materials with high resistance to high temperatures and chemicals, as well as ESD and FDA materials.
The sample box contains our cost-effective all-rounder xirodur B180 with stainless steel balls:

iglidur guide rollers are made of iglidur high-performance plastics, which makes them particularly durable and wear-resistant. As they require no lubrication, they are resistant to moisture, dirt and the associated abrasion. In the automotive industry, they are used, e.g. in the slat guide of active radiator grille systems or in guide rails of lorry tarpaulins.
We offer various groove types; the box contains a roller with U-groove:

Compared with commercially available plastics, our gears made of high-performance polymers offer a service life that is up to four times longer. Thanks to precisely balanced additions of reinforcing materials and solid lubricants, no external lubrication is required. This makes them ideal for use in compact motors, for example in electric seat adjustment systems.
Our standard product range includes spur gears, gear racks, bevel gears and angled gearboxes, and the box contains a xirodur spur gear:

igubal spherical bearings compensate for alignment errors and avoid edge pressure. They are lubrication-free, corrosion-free and chemical-resistant and lighter than their metal counterparts. Dry operation eliminates costs for lubricants and associated maintenance. We have many different designs in our product range, including pillow block and flange mounted bearings, rod ends, coupling joints and clevis joint combinations. They are used, e.g. in gearboxes, selectors, rear air deflectors on lorries or pivot doors in buses.
Included in the box are:

You can also use our high-performance polymers to produce individual components for motion applications, as prototypes or in small batches, with 3D printing. Components made from our wear-resistant 3D printing materials, whether filament, laser sintering powder or resin, have a service life that is up to 50 times longer than conventional plastics and are maintenance-free thanks to integrated solid lubricants.
If desired, we also take on the manufacturing with the igus 3D printing service. Just upload your CAD model and your components are ready to ship in one to three days.
