YRHD in DWK Drahtwerk

Hybrid tube YRHD in use at DWK Drahtwerk Köln as a replacement for steel tube

High stability and high filling weight - both requirements of DKW Drahtwerk Köln led to the hybrid chain YRHD.108.25.500.0 (tube variant) being selected in order to be able to realise the 12.5 m unsupported travel without support at a filling weight of 28 kg/m. The lids and bottoms of the energy tube can be opened so that it is possible to add or replace cables at a later date.

YE.42 at Sinopec

Two YE.42 side-by-side hybrid chains replace a steel chain at Sinopec

The hydraulic hoses used in steel chains for this Power Catwalk application wear out very quickly, so an alternative was sought. Because the YE.42 hybrid chain consists of steel side plates, which ensure a 100 % greater unsupported length (compared to plastic chain of the same size), and the plastic crossbars, which have been tried and tested for more than 35 years, the YE series hybrid chain solves the customer's wear problem.

YE.42 at Genie

YE.42 hybrid chains for retrofitting a Genie work platform

The YE.42 series with a chain length of 7.5 m is used in a Genie work platform. Flawless function after assembly. The engineers on site particularly emphasised the ease of assembly: It took much longer to remove the existing steel chain than to install the new YE hybrid energy chain, which was done within an hour in this application.
