Various stepper motor options

All stepper motors are delivered with a machined flat motor shaft (D-cut) for increased torque resistance. igus® offers high-performance stepper motors with a metric connector or stranded wire in five NEMA installation sizes. Stepper motors from igus® are maintenance-free and durable, and can be
extended with brakes and encoders. They work reliably at temperatures between -10 and +50°C. Their advantages include the fact that they are compatible with the most common motor control systems and that positioning is also possible without an encoder. They also have a high degree of protection up to IP68.

Travels, positions, speeds and operating times can be easily defined with the stepper motor dryve D1 via a control system that is based on a web interface. The dryve D3 DC motor control system makes it possible to easily control linear systems.

drylin® E couplings

The coupling connects the drive pin of the axis to the motor. An elastic polymer insert in the centre of the coupling transfers the motor torque. This dampening element compensates for radial and axial clearance.
